Wild Rose in Oil and Ink by Juss Erickson

This is a beautiful mixed media piece titled Wild Rose in Oil and Ink. The artist is Juss Erickson. I've not been able to find any information abut the artist. The piece itself is lovely. It has an impressionist feel with the rose bush set against a pastel background of color fields. The artist used rice paper to enhance the texture and surface of the piece. It's a lovely piece. It is signed in ink lower right and is titled and dated 10/72 lower left. It is unframed. The image is 25 x 15 inches. The sheet size is 27 x 17 3/8 inches. It is in very good condition. The image bright with no toning, fading, staining, or paper issues. It is mounted on a non-archival backing, but it does appear hinge tape was used rather than an adhesive. A lovely floral work.
