Echo Sight by Karen Kunc

This is an etching and aquatint by noted American printmaker Karen Kunc. This is very typical of her work with multiple bold colors, geometric shapes, and lines that convey tension, motion, and energy. The title reflects spiritual meaning which is a central element of her work.
The print is in perfect condition. It is well struck with bright colors and no issues with the paper. It is signed and dated in pencil lower right, titled lower left, and the edition (39/50) is given lower center. A fine work by this artist.

She uses research into many areas to influence her work. Again, from her artistic statement, “…from nature and science, spiritual and religious thought, art historical and modern icons, immigration narratives and native myths.”
