Sailing Past the Rocks by Robert H. Nisbet

This is a marine etching by Robert Hogg Nisbet. It shows a boat under sail gliding past a rocky coastline. Another boat is just visible in the distance. This likely represents a Maine scene, although it is not specifically identified. Nisbet did a lot of work in Maine. He uses tightly packed lines to emphasize the energy and action of the scene. It is pencil signed lower right. A nice example of his work.
