Night City is a colored lithograph depicting skyscrapers and their attendant light in a tall compressed format, typical for the artist. This was probably published by Associated American Artists that published most of his work. It demonstrate his mastery of light and color. Primarily consisting of night scenes they display the hallmarks of Florsheim altered perspective, abstraction, and contrast. This piece is very similar in composition and color to Neon Canyon, which is also available in the store. It is pencil signed by the artist lower right and there is a pencil notation of the edition 17/17 lower left. The title is given in pencil lower center. The lithograph is in very good condition with no damage, tears, or fading. There is residual hinge tape at the corners that is well away from the image. There is slight rippling of the paper, particularly at the top, but this doesn't affect the presentation of the image. The image size is given above. The sheet size is 16 x 20 inches. An excellent example of the artist's work.
