Oceanscape by Grace Magill
This is a beautiful watercolor by Grace Magill. It is a coastal seascape. The ocean is foaming against rocks in the foreground framed by seagrass and a pair of gulls circling. This is a very typical plein air watercolor probably from the east coast. There is no signature on the front, but the artist has signed it on the back. I think it is also dated, suggesting 1967. It is in excellent condition with bright colors and no damage to the paper. The image is 11 x 8 inches. It is matted and framed and the framed size is 23 x 19 inches. I've not found anything about the artist. It's a wonderful decorative piece.
